IBA GSS 2012 - Pipeline Pro wrap-up.
The pace in Hawaii has almost skidded to a grinding halt in comparison to the excitement levels we were all on this time last week, the eve before the commencement of the first stop on tour for 2012.
I started off ok with a 2nd place in my first heat, advancing into a 1/4 final heat with Jeff Hubbard (eventual event winner), Guilherme Tamega and Ben Player. This a dream heat to be a part of, and...

With the trials now completed and the main event only 2 days away, one could sway the Hawaiian (Bodyboarding) season is in full swing. Everyone is here and as a result Pipe is borderline unsurfable.
I really think that unless you have been coming here for over 10 years like BP, Kingy (who has been ripping), Ryan Hardy and the likes, or are Hawaiian, as in Jeff Hubbard, Skipp, Mike Stewart etc ,...

Hey all.
Times have been pretty cool so far here in Hawaii. With the contest now only 4 days away, I have been surfing alot, getting my fitness up in preparation for the half hour - power sessions called heats. The draw hasn’t been released yet but it’s going to be a stacked affair with the forecast looking like potentially the best Pipe event in years.
